Overview

This workshop, aimed at professionals who work with adolescents, seeks to help participants consider and identify the difference between age-expected and problematic or harmful sexual behaviour; the cause of such behaviours; guidance on how to evaluate, manage and respond to such behaviours; and when to seek further advice, assessment or intervention. It also considers issues to help with case management, assessment or intervention, therapeutic planning, and risk management. Whilst the session will reference abuse through technology, it will largely focus on contact sexual behaviours. Technology Assisted Harmful Sexual Behaviour (TA-HSB) is the subject of a forthcoming webinar.

Please note: we will be running sessions in the second half of 2025 that are specifically targeted at education staff working in a school setting.
