$220.00About the training
Many people are familiar with physical first aid courses, which teach essential skills to identify and address life-threatening emergencies across various situations.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training follows a similar model. Through a structured, practical plan, participants gain the knowledge to identify and assist someone experiencing a mental health issue or crisis until professional help is obtained or the crisis subsides.
Graduates of MHFA training, known as MHFAiders, are equipped with the tools to listen, engage, and offer crucial support. Their role is essential in reducing stigma and connecting individuals with the help they need in workplaces, communities, schools, and universities.
